This MALTEP igniter makes aluminothermic welding safer and more reliable than conventional flint igniters.

The 3m-long cord enables you to start your welds in complete safety. And with a service life >1000 welds, you can keep it for much longer.

Operation

Modify to change this text

• Slide the flat part of the tab into the cable end fitting
• Insert the other end of the tab into the mold, in contact with the filler metal
• Light the igniter
• Start welding and wait about one minute
• Replace tab and repeat for each weld
