Flat braided meshes
Flat tinned copper braids are typically used to protect against electrostatic overloads, for grounding and earthing of electrical equipment and lightning protection as an expansion conductor between conductors. They are placed between equipment and the ground to transfer electrical surges to ground, or to other components capable of absorbing significant amounts of transient voltage.
MALTEP offers a range of flat tinned electrolytic copper braids with strands of 15 or 20/100mm diameter. Our standard sections are between 2.5mm² and 185mm². MALTEP can propose you other cross sections and dimensions upon request.
