Bitumen felt roll
- Reference
The bitumen felt roll is a clamping system which is used for the installation of a conductor (cable or tape) ensuring the connection of an earth electrode to the lightning conductor on a flat roof, terrace or platform. Made of tarred'aluminium, it is a strip of thermo-adhesive fixing paste which is applied by means of a welding lamp or a blowtorch. The thermal action allows the conductor to be bonded to the floor without the need to drill holes for sealing. The conductor holders should be placed at least three per metre across the conductor. The "RUBERALU" bitumen felt roll does not alter the waterproofing of the roof, and is easy to use.
