Galvanized steel cable is an economical alternative to copper cable, it is often used in excavation as a grounding electrode for foundations in civil engineering, or for the protection of gas pipelines present in converter stations.

MALTEP offers a range of galvanized steel cables with cross-sections ranging from 35 to 130mm², other cross-sections are also available on request. The cable consists of 19 strands generally with a minimum galvanization thickness of 50µ. MALTEP offers standard packaging in drums of 500 and 1000 meters or cut at length.

Recommended Electrode, Capture and down conductors as per IEC EN 62561-2
