Characteristics
- Reference
Heat shrink tubing is a cross-linked polyolefin tube, which shrinks under the action of heat. In addition to providing mechanical, chemical, climatic protection, it permits a color identification of wired systems. Heat shrink tube comes in three categories:
- Small duty wall : It offers mechanical, electrical protection and allows to identify the different wired circuits
- Regular and heavy duty wall: They offer insulation for the protection of conductors and contain a hot melt adhesive that ensures watertightness. They do not contain halogen.
