Cross clamps are used for electrical grounding and bonding connections, and are typically used for lightning protection installations. They allow two down conductors to be connected together end-to-end, crosswise or perpendicularly.

MALTEP offers several models, conforming to the IEC EN 62561-2 standard, cross clamps are made of two parallel plates connected with bolts that clamps the conductors. Cross clamps are offered in tinned copper, stainless steel or galvanized steel and are suitable for connections of the following types: round to roundround to tape, or between tapes.
